Real Deal about the #BBTorch!

The BlackBerry Torch is the newest BlackBerry out on the market! I am so excited to review this device and let you all know the truth about the BBTorch! I was introduced to Team Blackberry through the BlackBerry Curve 8300 and most recently I am the proud owner of the Blackberry Bold 9000. Joining Team BlackBerry has my house divided as my husband is Team iPhone, so I've seen both sides of the coin.

So when I got the opportunity to review the BBTorch, I was so excited!! There are many things that I just absolutely love about this phone!! We'll discuss the highlights of this phone and why I suggest you buy this phone...

The very first things that caught my eye were the obvious:

• Sleek design
• Versatility of going from touch screen to keyboard quickly
• Bigger screen to allow you to see more
• No more "trackball" for those that still have it

Once I started playing with the phone I noticed so many other awesome features, so many... not really sure where to begin:

• Social Feeds-this allows you to see Twitter, Facebook, BBM and other RSS news feeds all in one place (I LOVE THIS FEATURE!!!!)
• Dial pad with letters-you can now easily dial any number with letters, ex: 1800CONTACTS
• Sectioned screens-the favorites, frequent, media and download section allows you to quickly get to apps you use often or that you "favorite" quickly instead of seeing all apps on your phone all at once, it gets rid of the clutter
• Search option-as you type letters it pulls everything with those letters as you type to allow you to quickly find anything associated with that word
• Multiple internet tabs-this is one thing that the iPhone had that I wanted and didn't have until the BBTorch came, I can now have up several internet tabs at once and toggle between them
• Memory-this phone has 4GB with an additional 4GB memory card, this allows you to download more apps and your phone won't freeze. This was a huge concern for me with my previous phones as I would download everything that looked appealing but it only slowed down the performance of my phone-NOT WITH THE BBTORCH!!
• Camera-my BB Bold had a camera but this camera has 5 megapixels!
• Operating System-OS6, newest operating system for BB (you can get this for your BB just by going to the BB website)

Now what can improve on the phone:

• Speakerphone-could be louder especially in the hands-free environment we are moving to
• Apps-because the phone is so new, some of the apps you may be used to haven't been formatted to work on ths phone as of yet, ex: Shazam
• Carrier-now this is not an issue I have but several people I have talked with about this phone wish it was on more than just AT&T (we'll keep our fingers crossed on that one)

With more pros than cons, I absolutely suggest this phone be on your Wish List or even better your BUY NOW List!!!

WWP: Working While Pregnant!!

This week was a rough week as far as work goes. Too many unnecessary ups and downs. I don't know if it's just me but sometimes being pregnant while you're trying to work your regular 40 or 40+ is hard and you're constantly fearful that "maybe they'll fire me if I don't come to work like I should". That fear that is constantly looming over you is troublesome and can cause added stress. Being pregnant is a beautiful thing!!! However, there are some things that people never tell you about being pregnant. For example, did anyone ever tell you that your feet can swell up so your toes look like mini-sausages? Or that you sleep way more than you normally would ever sleep?

I remember going through this when I was pregnant and it was emotionally taxing because you just aren't used to it. I will say this: surround yourself with positive people and this will alleviate all those negative thoughts that can creep into your mind. In addition,  think about your lil' person that you are bringing into this world and that will make it all go away!!!

New Beginnings!!!

Hello all!!!

My very first blog for Belly Branding!!! Let me fill you on what's about to go down...

This blog is for all newbie moms and for companies for find ways to get their product/service out to you!!! We create the future and the here and now!! We are in the process of creating life and companies want to find us!!!

In addition, this blog will serve as a way for new moms to express any concerns or good news about their pregnancies!!!

My story: This is baby #2 for me and I am so excited. I had been trying to have a baby for about a year now and despite my attempts, it just wasn't happening. I tried the ovulation kits and counting days but that did NOTHING!!! Finally someone suggested GERITOL and during the month of January (my birthday month) I took it and voila: A BABY!!! At first, I was nervous saying to myself: do I really want this?? Then I said: HECK YEA I want this!!! Fast forward to today, I am almost 7 months pregnant (I don't do the whole, 27 weeks, 3 days, 12 hours and 3 minutes thing) and I couldn't be more happier!!

Anywho, where did Belly Branding come from you ask? I always look for new t-shirts to wear that express how I feel. One day, I went out and wore a shirt that said: "Bellies are always in style" and got stopped SO MANY times just trying to go inside of the mall. Inner thought: this could be BIG and said let's go next level and thus Belly Branding was created.
